The Runner (acrostic poem #2)
(Acrostic Poem no.2)
The Runner started off slow.
He used to run just for exercise;
Exercise for his body.
Racing past the rest,
Up, up, and away!
Now he runs for his mind;
Now he runs to stay sane.
Echoes of his footsteps,
Reverberating in her mind.

True Love - R+M -
I wish I could be there,
right there to see you both;
on this most important day,
most memorable moment.
My heart and soul are with you both
on this most special day.
I want you both to know:
I'd give my left arm to be there!
R, I am sure you are so incredibly beautiful today
I feel super blessed to have witnessed you both from the beginning.
I'm sure that when M. sees you, you will take his breath away
Hopefully I get to witness even more in the future!
Love you both!
I wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Frustration, Acrostic Poem # 1
Feelings are frustrating, make blood boil,
Raging as if she were mad!
Unforgettable, all that she wishes to forget.
She becomes terribly sad when she thinks of her
Train wreak they said, She cannot do it!
Right from the start, just writing her off,
As if she were damaged, or in some way torn.
Terrified is She of what has happened,
Images of her beautiful brown eyes, her hair.
Open wide, her eyes are now, streaming with tears
Never, ever will anything seem right again.

FeAr
I'm scared
of the dark side of everyone else
of the dark side of myself!
of losing people I love with all my heart
of my uncertain future
of what is coming tomorrow or ten years down the road
of hurting myself or others
of never finding my true love
of never feeling complete on my own
of wasting my second chance
of my Skullcandy's breaking
of never getting to say what I want to my loved ones...
I'm terrified.

HOME
HOME, a poem based on the children's movie
Home is where the heart is...
Home is where young memories live...
Home is where everything is his.
Home is where he has plenty to give.
Home is a worthwile investment,
Home is cozy and warm.
Home is a special assessment;
Home is a haven from the storm.
Home size does not matter,
Nor the possessions within.
Home can be a great scatter!
Home can cause you to grin!
Home is where you feel the most safe.
Home is a wonderful place for a waif.
Home is special, no matter the size;
Home is the best, most secure prize.
to be continued...... ;)

I HATE winter
I miss you Green Grass,
I miss you tickling my toes.
I miss walking outside to class,
I am really only winter's foe.
Where are you lovely Sun?!
Where are you soft wind?
Pretty flowers, I love to run
With you I can always grin.
Sun, oh how I have mourned your loss,
Since you disappeared behind those clouds.
Are you mad or somehow cross?\
Are you finished with us all in our crowds?
Why must you punish us?
We know you are the boss.
Why have such a big fuss?
We will be at a complete loss....
In the end.
Saturday, 14 March 2015
I do not know what to do or say,
I am at a complete loss.
Suddenly this man is gone,
this father, son, this boss.
I feel this sudden, sinking feeling,
I know it MUST be grief.
This man is gone, this father,
this loving partner, this chief.
I must continue on,
Live through the tears.
Hold on to memories,
Chase away all fears.
these memories are all we have,
when a loved one passes on.
a lesson to cherish each moment,
before we are all gone.
my uncle, Dad's brother,
this captain at sea
steer and captain that boat,
as you glide through heaven in harmony.
farewell.
